The University of Staffordshire has unveiled its new £100m student village, providing 700 new and 300 refurbished bedrooms.
The accommodation is a mix of en-suite dormitories and town houses. A new "village hub" offers a wellbeing space, study areas, a rooftop terrace and a place to host events, and the university spent £10m on the hub facilities alone.
The development opened on schedule, and students moved in this week ahead of their courses starting later this month. Chancellor Maj Levison Wood said the new space would let students see the campus with "new eyes".
